Denver, Water World and Other Cities Begin Hiring for Summer Jobs

In preparation for the upcoming summer season, Water World is hosting a job fair to fill nearly 1,000 positions. The waterpark, which is Colorado’s first and largest, offers a range of roles including lifeguards, landscaping, and water quality management.

Applicants must be at least 14 years old by May 1 to apply for these positions. Those unable to attend the fair can still submit their application online through the park’s website. Working at Water World comes with several benefits such as a free season pass and discounted day tickets for friends and family.

Water World operates from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. The City of Denver is also assisting individuals aged 16 to 24 in finding job opportunities through the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt program. To be eligible for this program, candidates must provide proof of age and citizenship, and the city will help match them with suitable job openings.

For more information on these job opportunities or Water World’s job fair, individuals can contact either Water World or the City of Denver. The job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 8801 N. Pecos St in Federal Heights.
