Da Vinci Announces Opening Date for New Science Center in Allentown

The Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion in downtown Allentown is set to open soon, and excitement is building. This new education center will replace the existing facility on the Cedar Crest College campus and officially welcome visitors on May 22.

The first exhibit to be showcased at the venue will be Dinos Alive, a 67,000-square-foot science education facility featuring 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs. From Velociraptors to the iconic T-rex, visitors can explore interactive exhibits that bring science to life.

Executive director Lin Erickson expressed her excitement about the long-awaited opening, emphasizing the strong community support that made it possible. The center’s mission is to make science accessible and inspiring for people of all ages, drawing inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s curiosity.

In addition to exhibit galleries, the Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion will offer amenities like fully equipped classrooms, cutting-edge laboratories, and interactive workshops. There will even be a rooftop terrace for private events, adding to the overall experience of exploring and discovering at this premier science center in the Lehigh Valley.
